Main features
1. Finds for open or shorts cable in the wall or earth. Locates and traces communication cables, power cables, electrical wires, water / gas / heating supply pipelines buried in the earth or wall. The range of detection depth is 0.1m - 2m.
2. Break & Short-circuit Points Detecting. Quickly finds the location of the break point and short-circuit point in cables and wires buried in the earth or wall.
3. Finds for fuse and safeguard. Find the fuse or switch in the corresponding electrical wire.
4. Finds for socket or junction box is envelop. Finds electrical sockets and distribution sockets that are covered accidentally by plastering.
5. Finds for open or shorts conduit under the floor.
6.AC / DC Voltage Measurement. The transmitter has an integrated AC / DC voltmeter for linear measurement of 12-400V DC/AC voltage.

Precautions for NF-826
1. The working temperature of this Cable Locator is 0-40°C (32-104°F).
2. To avoid damage , this device should be protected against excessive mechanical vibration during handling or use, especially dropping.
3. Only professionals are allowed to calibrate and repair this instrument.
4. Prior to usage, inspect the instrument and the test lead in use for external damage. Please ensure that the instrument and the test lead in use are intact. The instrument should not be used unless all the functions of the instrument are well prepared for work.
5. When using the instrument, the rated voltage of the tested line should not exceed the rated voltage specified in the technical specifications of this Cable Locator.
6. Keep the instrument off direct sunlight to ensure perfect functioning and long service life.
7. If the instrument is subject to an extremely high electromagnetic field, its functioning ability may be impaired.
8. Only use batteries as described in the technical data section. 1) Before using a locator that has been placed or transported under extreme climate conditions, please place it under a new favorable environment for a certain period.
2) When the transmitter is connected with live mains , if the Grounding hole of the transmitter is connected with protective ground phase, the current leakage (if any) in the power supply line may join the circuit current of the transmitter, leading to tripping of the leakage circuit breaker, i.e. tripping of FI/RCD.
3) Please maintain the original package well for later mailing (such as for calibration of the instrument).

Q1: What is the meaning of the high voltage symbol displayed on the receiver screen when searching line 826?
A1:The receiver can also normally detect alternating current (similar to NCV function) in line-seeking mode. When the high-voltage symbol is displayed, it indicates that there is strong alternating current around, so it should be paid attention to safety.
Q2: 826 bipolar applications can be charged cable testing?
A2:In a voltage line, the transmitter can not only transmit information signals, but also measure cable voltage.
Q3: Can 826 find breakpoints with two emitters?
A3:Yes, two emitters are set as different codes, and the two emitters are connected at both ends of the breakpoint in accordance with the breakpoint wiring mode, then two emitters' codes can be received at both ends of the breakpoint.
Q4: Can 826 detect metal water pipes buried in the ground and connected to protected areas?

A5:First, confirm whether to switch to NCV mode, and second, check whether the mute function is enabled.
