At this time, the fault distance data will change accordingly. 3) Adjust the gain potentiometer, the amplitude of the waveform displayed on the instrument screen will increase or decrease. Change the measurement range value according to the operation steps of the range menu mentioned above, and the measurement range and transmit pulse width will change accordingly on the display screen of the instrument. Preliminary judgment on the type of failure: Analysis of the cause and type of failure before testing is a must. General-purpose instruments such as ohmmeters, megohmmeters, etc. can be used to make preliminary analysis and judgment according to the specific situation and actual experience of the site. Select the trigger working mode: If it is a poor contact, low-resistance grounding and short-circuit faults, or disconnection, it is recommended to use the pulse method.
