Structural characteristics of cable quotation Cable quotation (1) One of the relative ground insulation layers of the single-phase ground fault cable has deteriorated conductivity characteristics, resulting in leakage faults, that is, the relative ground insulation layer forms a fixed resistance channel, and its resistance value is or Large or small or zero, the cable conductor for this fault is good. (2) The conductivity characteristics of the two-phase or three (four) interphase insulation layers in the interphase fault cable become worse or the breakdown characteristics become low, resulting in leakage or flashover faults. In this fault condition, the cable conductor core and relative ground insulation are good.
(3) Phase-to-ground faults The leakage or flashover fault is formed between two phases of the cable and between the three-phase and the ground or between the three-phase and the ground. (4) Open-circuit fault When one core or multi-core conductor or metal shielding layer of the cable is completely disconnected or seems to be disconnected, we call it an open-circuit fault. 5) Mixed faults When there are more than two faults in the cable at the same time, it is called mixed faults.
