The vast majority of underground pipelines are metal materials, which can transmit electromagnetic waves inductively. With its superior performance and flexible and convenient detection methods, underground pipeline detectors are widely used in electric power, telecommunications, water supply, heat, gas, petroleum, chemical industry, urban public utilities, etc. The field has a large number of users, which has played a positive role in improving the pipeline management level of related industries in my country. The problems that the underground pipeline detector often pays attention to during the operation (1), cleaning, the inside and outside of the optical fiber fusion splicer, the optical fiber itself, the most important parts are the V-groove, the optical fiber presser and other parts. (2) When cutting, ensure that the cutting end face is 89°±1°, which is approximately vertical. During the process of placing the cut fiber in the designated position, the end face of the fiber should not touch any place. If it touches, we need to clean and cut it again. : Emphasize cleaning before cutting! (3) When placing the optical fiber in its position, neither too far nor too close, 1/2 place, proficiency! (4) During the whole process of welding, do not open the windproof cover.

(5) Heating the heat-shrinkable sleeve, the scientific name of the process is the reinforcement of the splicing part. When heating, the fiber splicing part must be placed in the middle, and a certain tension should be added to prevent bubbles and insufficient fixing during the heating process. The heating process and the fusion splicing process of the fiber can be carried out at the same time. When taking it out after heating, do not touch the heated part. The temperature is very high to avoid danger. (6) When arranging the tools of the underground pipeline detector, pay attention to breaking the optical fiber head to prevent danger. The optical fiber is glass wire, which is very thin and hard.
