The cable sheath fault tester adopts switching power supply to form a high-voltage constant current source, no-load voltage 7500v, short-circuit current 40mA, high-sensitivity amplifier and ammeter to indicate balance, proportional potentiometer to form a balance bridge, and the whole is placed at a high potential. The measuring cable is a specially designed twin-core high-voltage rubber cable.
The four-terminal resistance measurement method is adopted to avoid the error caused by the lead resistance. The cable is reliably grounded through the braided shielding layer, the operation button on the panel is at a low potential, and the bridge is operated through an insulating rod. The high voltage constant current source and bridge are integrated in the portable aluminum alloy case. Therefore, the device has the advantages of high voltage, light weight, convenient operation and safe use.
