(3) During the boosting process or the duration of the boosting, if there is obvious discharge sound in the transformer tank, the indication of the meter changes, or the transformer discharges gas, the test should be stopped. (4) During the pressurization process, if there is a discharge sound inside the transformer or the indication of the ammeter changes’Indicates that the insulation has been broken down. When repeating the test, the second test voltage is lower than the third test voltage'It means that the solid insulation has been broken down.
If the voltage of the second test is not low, but the discharge occurs at the original value, it means that the gap is penetrating breakdown, and in most cases, the distance between the lead and the ground is not enough. (5) In the process of pressurization, if the transformer makes a sound like fried beans, but the indication of the ammeter is very stable, it may be that the suspended metal parts are discharged to the ground or the iron core is poorly grounded. (6) During pressurization, if there is a squeaking discharge sound in the fuel tank, and the meter indicates no change, it should be depressurized and then re-raised.
If the discharge sound is gone, it is normal; if it is still there, the original test should be checked.
