The passive source power frequency method does not require a transmitter, it can search for power cables in an unknown area. Turn on the receiver, select the working frequency of the receiver as 50Hz, adjust the gain to get a suitable reading and select the maximum value method or the minimum value method to search back and forth in an area by grid search.
Carry the receiver and walk smoothly, so that the fuselage surface is in a straight line with the moving direction and at right angles to the passing pipeline as much as possible. Do not swing in an arc, because this will produce some misleading signals. When the response of the receiver shows abnormality, stop immediately, accurately locate the position of the pipeline and make a mark. A pipeline passing through the search area also needs to be tracked and marked.

Turn on the receiver, select the receiver working frequency as CPS, the usage method is the same as the power frequency method. 3. (1) Automatic adjustment of receiving gain: Automatically adjust the gain of the receiver to keep the receiver in an optimized state, eliminating the cumbersome manual adjustment. (2) Sound function: The change of the tone emitted by the receiver through the speaker intuitively reflects the magnitude of the measured signal. (3) Pipeline status detection: When the transmitter is in injection mode, it first detects the insulation resistance and residual voltage of the pipeline, and then applies the signal to the target pipeline.
When the insulation resistance on the pipeline is small (near short-circuit to ground), the transmitter will automatically exit this mode. When the residual voltage is large, the transmitter will give an alarm, and the operator should immediately stop the signal loading and turn off the transmitter. (4) Battery power detection: real-time detection of battery power, when the power is low to the protection value, an alarm will be issued and the machine will automatically shut down. (5) Power-saving function: After the transmitter is turned on for about 30 seconds without pressing other keys, and after the receiver is turned on, if no other keys are pressed for about 10 minutes, the machine will automatically shut down to save battery power.
